Hate

That word

That thought

That moment

That feeling

That choice!

But why…
What might be the cause of thy discontent?

You do not look like us…

You mouth it with such vileness, but the winds whisper it with such carelessness

But…
My only wish is for you to love me for that reason!

You Hate I!
But why…
What might be the cause of such discontent?

You are different…

Your eyes glare it with such ugliness

But why…

Don’t you see…

My only wish is for you to see the beauty of love in the ugliness of thy hatred

I hate you!

You spit on the fresh echoes of my fearful footsteps

You are foreign…!

Is that hate I see quivering on thy love parched white lips?

But why…

When My only wish isn’t for you to bear such a darkness in thy lonely misguided heart

I ask of you…

That you must…

Hate!
That word

That thought

That moment

That feeling

That choice!

But only if!
you could.

You would.

You should.

Love!

This word
This thought

This moment

This feeling

This choice!

Let love.

Forge these ambiguities into thy unifying sword

And let Love’s flames burnout thy discontent and thy disdain!

Let the foreignness of my presence birthe lightness unto thy darkened heart

My only wish is for you to discard thy hate and love for love’s sake.
